I made the mistake of buying another similar video camera after the salesman and the box it came in said "Mac Compatable" . After spending one weekend on the phone with APPLE and RCA I learned it is only MAC compatable if you download about 6 patches and five applications and stand on your head while reciting the alphabet backwards. Back to the store for a quick exchange for the FLIP which my salesman said was not as good at the first one (not true). I brought it home and it was plug and play. Its great for a party video, a clip of the kids or dog but I wouldnt use it for the school play. The zoom is limited , but thats the only thing that is limited. The quality is very good and it fits right in my pocket.
